Pink Ribbon Sessions

This year, for all the obvious reasons, the Mayo Pink Ribbon Cycle cannot happen. But women are still being diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer and the need to raise funds in support of cancer research remains.

This year and every year, the money raised by Mayo Pink Ribbon funds essential research at the National Breast Cancer Research Institute at University Hospital Galway, led by Prof. Michael Kerin.

The Pink Ribbon Sessions is a virtual concert that will take place this Saturday, 2 May on the Mayo Pink Ribbon Facebook Page starting at 19.00 and running for 3+ hours. It will feature performances from local artists and bands and surprise contributions from some very well-known faces.

We hope that #PinkRibbonSessions will give all loyal and new supporters an opportunity to contribute to crucial research whilst enjoying a great night’s entertainment from the comfort (and confinement!) of their own homes.
