Showers and changing facilities are available at ATU.
Therapy Room: Cyclists feeling the pain are welcome to a short treatment after the cycle subject to availability.
Water and snack stops will be in place along both routes and cyclists are welcome to a lunch of soup and sandwiches in Foxford (51Km) or Ballina (108Km). On return to ATU hot food will be served. This is complimentary for cyclists. There is a charge of €12/€6 for non- cycling adults and children. Please advise in advance if bringing guests.
Our event is a leisure cycle not a race and it takes place on open roads. Cyclists obey the rules of the road at all times showing courtesy and consideration for other road users and riding in a manner that is safe for themselves and others. All cyclists participate at their own risk and they must rely on their own ability in dealing with all hazards. We ask that you please obey the instructions of marshals, helpers and support staff at all times. When out on open roads we ask that cyclists ride maximum two abreast when safe to do so and go in single file when necessary.
WHAT TO BRING
Your registration number will be issued at sign in and must be worn, visibly, to the front for the duration of the cycle. You will also be issued with a wristband that gives you access to the food stops and the meal. This must be worn throughout the day.
Remember: NO NUMBER NO CYCLE!
